It prepares draft Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (“SWPPP”) documents and Notice of Intent (“NOI”) forms from the information you provide and from publicly available government data. This Disclaimer forms part of our Terms of Service. Read it before relying on any generated document.
Not professional or legal advice
Siltworks does not provide engineering, surveying, legal, or regulatory-compliance advice, and using the Service does not create a professional or client relationship. No Professional Engineer (PE), Qualified SWPPP Developer (QSD), or other licensed or certified professional prepares, reviews, signs, or stamps any document. Where your permit or jurisdiction requires one — for example a QSD in California, or a registered PE’s stamp on Rhode Island erosion and sediment control plans — engaging that professional remains your responsibility.
Operator responsibility
The operator or permittee named on the permit remains solely responsible for the adequacy of the SWPPP, for implementing and maintaining control measures on site, and for compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local permits and regulations, including the Clean Water Act, the EPA Construction General Permit, and any state equivalent. You must review, verify, and where necessary correct every part of a generated document before it is certified, submitted, or relied upon. The certification you sign is made under penalty of law and is yours alone.
Drafts, AI-drafted text, and NOI forms
A watermarked draft is not a final plan and must not be certified or kept as one. Some narrative sections are drafted by an AI model and can contain errors or omissions. Siltworks fills in NOI forms for you to review; it does not file them with any agency, and you remain responsible for submitting them and for the accuracy of what you submit.
Accuracy of source data
Government and third-party data sources may be incomplete, out of date, or unavailable. Siltworks retrieves and presents this data as a convenience and does not guarantee its accuracy. Confirm auto-filled values against site conditions before use.
No guarantee of compliance
Siltworks does not warrant that a generated document will satisfy any particular permit, inspection, or regulatory requirement, or that it will prevent enforcement action, stop-work orders, or penalties. Regulatory requirements vary by jurisdiction and change over time. Our liability is limited as set out in our Terms of Service.
